Alan is a Partner specializing in accounting and audit services. Prior to joining the Firm in December 2011, he was a Partner with Grant Thornton LLP.
Alan has over 25 years of public accounting experience providing services to privately owned businesses. He has significant experience in the real estate, construction and manufacturing industries. He is also experienced with employee benefit plans. In addition to assurance services, he has assisted his clients with business acquisitions and disposals, implementing accounting pronouncements, accounting for complex transactions, converting to generally accepted accounting principles and first time audit of business enterprises.
Alan is a licensed CPA and a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the North Carolina Association of Certified Public Accountants. He is a graduate of Virginia Tech with a B.S. in Business Administration (Accounting).
Alan and his wife Kay live in Charlotte and have adult daughters and one granddaughter.
