Founding partners in 2002 were Ronald G. Vance, formerly a principal with Reznick, Federer & Silverman, and Gary K. Flouhouse and Frederick C. Garges, both former partners in Geo. G. Scott & Co. Scottie Thompson was named Tax Partner in 2010. In December 2011 Alan L. Day joined VF&G as Partner; Alan was formerly a Partner with Grant Thornton LLP. The firm has grown to encompass a staff of professionals with over one hundred years of combined experience.
